    Published 12/07/23

This week, year 6, were visited by SGT Tuck. The children were able to ask questions about how crimes and punishments had changed over time and what were the most common crimes are now. Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Maths Championship finalist team. The children completed a range of challenging logic, reasoning and number challenges whilst competing against other Dudley Schools. By aiming high, showing great teamwork and applying their fantastic maths knowledge, they finished 6th overall out of the 12 finalists. We are all so proud of how well they represented Lapal's values of perseverance, cooperation and excellence.

One member of the team even won a special individual prize of 2 tickets to the SpongeBob Musical at Wolverhampton Grand, for his great estimating skills.

The team also couldn't miss the opportunity to have our photo taken with Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Andrea Goddard, who presented the awards.
