On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th November, some of our Year 6 pupils successfully completed their Level 1 and Level 2 Bikeability training.

Level 1 was an exciting gateway to start their cycling adventure – because every journey of many miles begins with the first step! This stage took place on our school playground, providing a safe, traffic-free environment for pupils to build confidence and learn essential skills.

Following this, pupils progressed to Level 2, where they learned to grow more confident with every turn of the pedal. Under the guidance of expert instructors, riders ventured onto quiet roads to experience “real” cycling and develop practical road safety skills.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils’ achievements, as well as the excellent behaviours and attitudes they demonstrated throughout the two days. The Bikeability team were full of praise for our children, which makes us even prouder!

We look forward to Group 2 taking part in their sessions in December.
