Learning Survey

Thank You for Your Feedback!

We are delighted to share the outcomes of our recent Learning Survey and thank all parents who took the time to respond.

Key Question:

“The school makes me aware of what my child will learn during the year.”

What You Told Us

  • 95% of parents agreed or strongly agreed that the school keeps them informed about what their child will learn during the year.
  • Many parents praised our weekly Tapestry updates in EYFS, posts on Google Classroom, and the ideas provided to support learning at home.

Why This Matters

Your feedback confirms that our efforts to keep you informed are making a positive impact. We are thrilled that so many families feel connected to their child’s learning journey. We value your input and will continue to build on these successes to make communication even clearer and more helpful. Your time and feedback are essential in helping us grow together.

How We Keep Parents Updated on Their Child’s Learning

We believe strong communication between school and home is essential for supporting every child’s progress. Here are the ways we ensure parents stay informed:

  • Termly Learning Reviews: Each child takes part in a learning review every term, giving parents insight into their progress and next steps.
  • Year Group Overviews: At the start of each year, parents receive an overview of the topics their child will cover which is also located on the school website.

  • Weekly Updates: We share home learning tasks and classroom highlights through Tapestry (EYFS) or Google Classroom (KS1/KS2), so parents can stay connected to what’s happening in school.

  • Newsletter: Each month we send out a newsletter which will capture learning undertaken within the school that month

  • School website/Social media: We post regularly to promote the wider learning opportunities the children in our school have undertaken.
