We are absolutely thrilled to announce that, as part of our commitment to fostering a lifelong love of reading and celebrating the National Year of Reading, bestselling children's author and Hollywood actor Ben Miller will be visiting Lapal Primary School on Monday 12th October 2026!

Our Key Stage 2 children will have the incredible opportunity to meet Ben in person as he shares his brand-new book, Diary of a Wicked Witch. During a special KS2 event in the hall, Ben will talk about his journey as an author, the inspiration behind his stories and the magic of reading.

This is a truly exciting occasion and one that we know will inspire our young readers and aspiring writers alike. Meeting a real-life author is always memorable, but welcoming someone as well-known and talented as Ben Miller makes this event even more special.
