We are delighted to share the latest September & October edition of BOOKDROP, a free children’s book newsletter from Authorfy.

This colourful edition is packed with ideas to inspire our children to read for pleasure, discover new authors and find their next favourite book.

This month's newsletter features Katherine Rundell, author of the hugely popular Impossible Creatures series, including a Q&A and an extract from The Neverfear. It also introduces lots of exciting new children's books for different ages, alongside book reviews and recommendations.

There is something for younger and older readers, including new releases for picture-book and early readers, as well as recommendations for children aged 7+ and 9+. 

🌟 Reading for Pleasure at Home

There is also a fantastic Reading for Pleasure section with ideas from the Open University team. This edition encourages families to remember that reading together doesn't always have to mean sitting down with a book. Magazines and newspapers can provide opportunities to share interesting facts, funny stories, headlines, images, quizzes and articles together.
