Today Year One were introduced to our topic Fantastic Fruits. First of all we shared as a class all of the different types of fruits we already know. Then we listened to the story ‘Handa’s Surprise’ discussing the different types of fruit that were included within the story. Next as a class we looked at specific vocabulary and displayed these around the classroom. As a class we then tasted a variety of different fruits including, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, bananas, and oranges.
