1C NSPCC Mental Health Week

The children in Year 1 watched a virtual assembly to mark NSPCC Mental Health Week. We then had lots of discussions around the themes, ‘Speaking out to be heard’ and ‘Speaking out to stay safe’ and we also reminded ourselves about trusted adults both in school and out of school that the children could talk to if they were worried about anything. Finally the children drew their happy place where they feel most happy and safe.
