Today, the children of Lapal were invited to come to join in with our non-uniform day to raise money for children in need. They have also completed activities in class to raise awareness of this special day.
For example, Reception have taken part in a danceathon today, inspired by Sophie Ellis Bextor's 24 Hour Kitchen Disco. Throughout the day, we stopped our learning to boogie to our favourite songs remembering how fortunate we are to be healthy, safe and happy. Pudsy would be so proud :)
Also, in Year 5, we have been reflecting on the important work that Children In Need carry out. The children across the year group created acrostic poems to display this. Well done Year 5!
