EYFS - RG Visit to Woodgate Valley

As their first school trip, Reception visited Woodgate Valley Country Park this week to identify seasonal changes in our local environment. We used our senses to explore the area and identify if it was a city or woodland, collected autumnal items that we thought were special, identified deciduous and ever green plants and created a nature bracelet.
We splashed in puddles, stamped in mud and played pooh sticks on the bridge.
We also got to travel on the School minibus driven by our Caretaker, Mr Homer.
Miss Gilliland was so proud of the children's confidence in a new environment, following of the safety instructions and enjoyment of the morning. Well done, superstars!
