EYFS Writing Journey

Last week, Reception went on a senses journey around our school, listening to sounds and investigating areas of the environment that we usually do not explore.

They noticed that they could hear echoes in the abandoned air raid shelter, see birds pecking food after playtime and darkness in the murky pond. We wrote about our experience with chalks on different surfaces.
