For the attention of ALL parents/carers - Remote education and in school provision tomorrow
Dear Parents/carers,
It is my intention to open the school tomorrow to critical worker and vulnerable children.
Due to covid bubbles, we have to have at least one member of staff per bubble and cannot combine groups. We also need to make sure we have first aiders and a designated safeguarding lead on site in order to remain open. Our staff do not all live local to school and many also have children whose childcare provision may be cancelled. If circumstances change overnight and we are unable to staff school appropriately and need to close, then we will communicate this as early as possible tomorrow morning.
Whilst we have cleared the main entrance to school it has been impossible to clear all of the pathways today, we therefore need to stagger entrance and exit times tomorrow. Before and after school club provision will also be closed. Older siblings to enter/exit with youngest child.
Times will be as follows;

Please follow the one-way system, entering via the car park gate and walking across the car park exiting by the main pedestrianised gate.
There is still snow on Priory Road so we would suggest that you avoid driving down the school road. With plummeting temperatures forecast for this evening we also ask that you take care on the pavements as it will be slippery underfoot.
We will continue to provide remote education for all pupils working at home but please take in to consideration that with added pressures tomorrow the planned timetable may need to be adapted. Our live meet will not take place at 8.40am, instead we plan to deliver this at 3.15pm.
As always, if you are able to keep your child at home, then it is safer for you to do so. Please notify us by email if you have made alternative arrangements for tomorrow so that we don’t ask staff to make any unnecessary journeys. You can contact school using the school email address school@lapal.dudley.sch.uk
We thank you in advance for your understanding and support.
Kind regards
Mrs Turner
