Intruder Alert!

On Monday, Reception discovered that something had been into our school over the weekend. They had left muddy paw prints, brown fur and a real mess in the classroom. We painted pictures of what we thought it could be.

On Tuesday, our classroom had been invaded by wild animals and we found a note explaining that they were afraid of something in their woodland. We used clipboards to note down their hiding places and helped.

On Wednesday, there were five clues left on Miss Hopkins's desk: it has purple prickles, turned up toes and a poisonous wart on the end of his nose. We created and labelled posters to warn other animals and pupils in school that there was a Gruffalo on the lose!
