Lapal Award Winners

Today is an exciting day at Lapal Primary as we have received our certificate and trophy from October when we were recognised in the 2021 Farshore (formerly Egmont) Reading for Pleasure Teacher Awards, in association with The Open University and The UK Literacy Association.

We were delighted to have been awarded the Farshore Reading for Pleasure Teacher Award for the category of ‘Whole School’ and so proud of the recognition we have received for our inspiring work around reading for pleasure and for the steps we have taken to build a highly effective reading community.

The certificate and trophy are now proudly displayed on our trophy unit as a reminder of the great work we have done here at Lapal and for celebrating our achievements as a school.
