Lapal get a special visitor

This afternoon Year 1 had a special visit from Kev, a Firefighter from Haden Cross Fire Station. He talked to us about his job and how he drives the fire engine and he also showed us his fire kit. We got feel how heavy and strong it was and we could even smell fire on his kit from when he had a job. 

We learnt lots that is going to help us with our writing and for when we come to make our very own fire engines.
