Marshmallow Maths

In year two, we have been learning all about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We used plastic shapes to investigate the properties of shapes and then sorted the shapes based on their properties.

We know that an edge is where two faces meet. We also know that a vertex is where two or more edges meet. We used our knowledge of edges and vertices to build a model of 3D shapes using spaghetti and marshmallows.
