New Arrivals in EYFS

As part of our Growth and Change science focus, we are exploring plant and animal life cycles. On Monday, we received a special delivery of 10 chicken eggs! We monitored the eggs carefully for signs of pipping.

On Wednesday, we welcomed four chicks into the world, who the chicken named Poppy, Lily, Oree and Jon. We have made a safe home for the new chicks in their brooder box using our new knowledge of how to care for animals.

We are very excited to hold the chicks once they become fluffy and strong.
