No Place Like Music
This half term the children in year 2 have been listening to a very special piece of music! ‘No Place Like…’ is composed by Kerry Andrew. You can click on this link to have a listen to the fabulous music on the BBC Ten Pieces website. The music uses vocal sounds and body percussion to describe the many homes and places that we live in.
Over the last few weeks the children have used Kerry Andrew’s music as model to compose their own versions of the music, all about Lapal Primary School! They composed their own body percussion patterns, used their voices to produce interesting sounds, and even wrote their own alternative lyrics. Take a look at our amazing work.
Well done year 2, you are all super stars!
