Remembrance Art.

As we have been thinking about remembrance this week, we intended to draw poppies as part of our GREAT ways to well being time. The children did such a fantastic job, we then decided to pastel the pictures during our art lessons and share them with Mrs Mackinney.

As a result of the children's interest in the poppies, we discussed the significance of the poppy, reasons for why we wear poppies and thus discussed Flanders field and the consequences of what happened in that field.
