I hope this letter finds you well and that you are managing to enjoy some of the sunshine.
This week the key worker children, who have been in school, have been carrying out some super activities with our staff, this has included making birthday cards for Captain Tom, celebrating St George’s day and holding an egg drop DT afternoon! Please feel free to email in any interesting activities you have been completing at home, the teachers would love to hear from you.
I hope your home learning is going well and you are finding the information we are sending out via our learning projects useful. Our week 4 learning projects will be posted on the website over the weekend so you can decide which tasks you will pick out for the week ahead. Websites you may want to explore this week are Letter and sounds, which launches on Monday delivering daily phonics sessions for our EYFS and KS1 pupils and Explorify which is a science based website.
Some parents have contacted us to ask about free school meal vouchers. It is only the families who have applied for benefit-based free school meals that will receive the vouchers. Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to benefit-based free school meals and could find out more using this link https://www.dudley.gov.uk/resident/your-council/council-tax-and-benefits/benefits/free-school-meals/
The school is so empty and quiet without the children’s happy smiling faces filling our playground, classrooms and corridors, so we have attached a special message from us all to try to convey how much we are missing everyone. We had great fun putting our picture collage together and practising our art skills!
Take care, stay safe and look after yourselves and your families.
Have a lovely weekend.
