#WakeupWednesday - Tips for Encouraging Open Discussions about Digital Lives

We will regularly share free online safety guides provided by National Online Safety (NOS) as this is part of our commitment to keeping all children and families safe online.

This week the focus of our #WakeupWednesday is - Tips for Encouraging Open Discussions about Digital Lives, this was also the focus for Internet Safety Day on 7th February and your child will have been completing age-appropriate activities based on this theme this week in school.

This free online safety guide looks at ways that trusted adults can encourage open conversations with children and young people about their digital lives. It outlines useful tips such as being as honest as possible, discussing how misleading the online world can be and creating a ‘family agreement’.
