Weekly Update
Dear Parents/Carers,
This week we have launched google classrooms. Thank you to those children who have logged on already, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading what you have been up to, seeing you photographs, watching your videos and just being able to say hello. I know your teachers have loved responding to your messages, viewing your work and posting comments too.
Please can we urge all families who have not yet logged on to google classrooms to do so, this is not just a resource we will be using during school closure, but a tool we will continue to use when the children are back in school. Its functions enable us to share sheets to download and post videos to say hello or support learning.
We have started to send out our end of spring term reports, for those of you who haven’t yet received please don’t worry, they will be with you shortly.
The bank holiday on Friday is the beginning of a commemorative weekend to mark the 75th anniversary of VE day. As we can’t celebrate this occasion together we would love to hear about how you marked the occasion, this might be painting a Union Jack, having a garden picnic, wearing red, white and blue or listening to music from that period. Again, please share via google classrooms.
This week, the key worker children have been carrying out activities based on VE day in school and you have all been provided with some suggested tasks related to this event on your home learning sheets. Please click here for some further ideas of activities that you might want to try too.
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Take care
Mrs Turner
