Xīn Nián Kuài Lè!

Reception have enjoyed celebrating Chinese and Lunar New Year to develop our knowledge of local community festivals.

We read the story of the zodiac, discovering the animal year of our birth, built paper lanterns to display in our classroom and experimented with creating traditional mandarin lettering when making cards.

We tasted traditional Chinese food in the Little Lapal Restaurant and learnt how to move our body like lion dancers.
