Y6 Ancient History - Athens V Sparta

In year 6, we have launched our new History topic 'Ancient Greece'. During our launch lesson, children used their prior knowledge and non-fiction books to find out new information.

Our focus this lesson was to look at the difference between the two of the three city states, Athens and Sparta. We found out that Athenians were intellectual and philosophers and who we can thank for democracy, as well as this we found that Spartans were ruled by dictators, liked sports and fighting.
