Year 3 - Where does my food come from?

This half term in Geography, year 3 have been learning about the significance of latitude and longitude and have been able to identify the position of the Equator, Northern Hemisphere, and Southern Hemisphere. After obtaining this knowledge, they have been able to find out where different types of food come from around the world and how this is support by trade links to transport across the world.

The children have also been using their schema and knowledge organisers to look at what they already know and what they wish to find out.
