Year 4 Independence Celebration

This week, as part of their USA topic, year 4 have been learning about the American Independence day, they learnt the national anthem and then had their very own party to celebrate. The children also created some traditional American food, as part of their DT, including potato salad, coleslaw and ice-cream. They made these independently by following a recipe, accessing their own ingredients and measuring them out accurately. The children then got to sample their creations and comment on how much they enjoyed them.
