Year 4 Pop Art

This half term year 4 have revisited their knowledge of the artist Andy Warhol. We have learnt more about his background and his family specifically before moving on to look at 'Pop art'.

First we completed a technique called 'blotting' which required the children to trace a picture with ink and then transfer this onto paper by rubbing the print. Then we looked at Andy Warhol's famous soup artwork.

We experimented with colours to see which would compliment each other

and then used these to create our own Andy Warhol inspired pop art soup.
