Year 6 children have been learning and practising yoga poses during GREAT well-being time. We have practised the Mountain Pose (Samasthiti), Chair Pose (Utkasana ) and Tree Pose (Tadasana) We have also been developing our breathing to focus our minds. This has helped us to hold the poses for a little longer. The poses aim to strengthen our muscles including those in our legs and abdomen as well as our calf and thigh muscles. We are looking forward to discovering new poses in the near future!
