Year Two Trip To Coughton Court

Our little historians blew us away with their knowledge and understanding of The Gunpowder Plot throughout our day at Coughton Court. The children answered some tricky questions in great detail, including the plotters names, dates, the reasons behind the plot and how we remember The Gunpowder Plot today.

The children listened to all of our tour guides as they shared stories and they asked such fantastic questions which aided their understanding of the links between The Gunpowder Plot and Henry VIII. Fantastic historical enquiry, well done year two!

The children also represented our school beautifully. They demonstrated our school values throughout the day and all of the volunteers commented upon their super manners, kindness and enthusiasm for learning. We are incredibly proud of you, year two. Well done!
